Description of project and our assignment:
Small hydro power plants Doboj, Cijevna 5 and Cijevna 6 are planned within
integral project of development, protection and exploitation of the Bosna
River course in the stretch between Doboj - Modriča, including also parts
of the river stream through Doboj and Modriča cities. Feasibility Study
is to investigate above mentioned facilities techno - economical validity
and its impact both on power system of Republic of Srpska and on local
environment and nature.
The services that will be rendered by the Consultant refer to the following activities:
- Using the available input data related to the basic factor of the area related to morphological characteristics, existing and planned infrastructure and inhabitancy of the watercourse and watershed, as well as extent to which they have been investigated.
- Conducting the comprehensive procedure of collecting all necessary input data like geodetic, hydrological, geological and hydro geological, seismological data as well as input data related to erosion and sediment transport and all other data that can make an contribution towards wide perception of all relevant factors.
- To find optimal technical solution for these facilities construction. This includes the selection of conceptual solution for usage of technically exploitable hydropower potential, selection of key structures within hydropower plants, hydro-civil solutions. Also the potentials of the analyzed facilities investigations regarding calculation of power characteristics of plant, electromechanical equipment, hydro mechanical equipment, potable water supply to structures, wastewater, environmental impact assessment for hydropower plants is be conducted.
- Estimation of both total and individual costs. Individual costs are to be broken down into costs of expropriation and compensations, costs of required investments prior to construction. Technical-economic analysis of hydropower plant construction feasibility, analysis of potential borrow pits for all types of building material, construction organization bases, conclusions, key proposals and recommendations for the next design phase, detailed proposal of all further investigation works required for input preparation are crucial part of the feasibility study results.
